Our influences are remarkably similar. I am a huge fan of Jeff Buckley, Depeche Mode, Bowie and the Cure – it’s no secret that Stacey and I have a ridiculously large number of things in common. I am also heavily influenced by Pink Floyd, Nine Inch Nails, Muse, VAST, and the Smashing Pumpkins.

I've been in several bands where the writing process was just gridlocked by the various band members' personalities. The guitar player wanted a solo, the drummer wanted a more intricate rhythm, etc, etc... It really turned me off to playing in a band. Nothing would ever get done and the music would always be compromised in some way in order to suit everyone's ego.

Well, after all of the unloading is done, we generally just love to sit back and enjoy the band's company. We're all such close friends and family, that our shows generally turn into times where we get to hang out with the people we love, and on top of it, we get to play a live show.

We honestly have THE coolest fans any musician could ever ask for. They have been supportive since day one, and have been relentless in their promotion of our music. We sometimes get the opportunity to hang out with some of our fans at our shows, and we absolutely LOVE being able to do that.
