Well for me I’ve been doing it since I was 8, I’ve been playing piano and writing songs, and doing that. I don’t know if you guys are musicians but you kind of know when you start that it’s like the only thing that you ever really want to do, at least something that pertains to it. I haven’t really changed my career choice since I was like 8, so that’s pretty much all I’ve ever wanted to do.

I always wanted to be a fighter pilot. I was going to be a fighter pilot/musician when I was a little kid and I thought about law school and things like that but music just always held my heart.

Well for me, ever since I picked up the guitar, I didn’t see a point in learning other songs. The first time I learned chords I started writing. Just picking it (guitar) up playing notes, I just played and wrote. I still to this day, I mean I pick them up by ear, I don’t know a lot of cover songs. It’s just not what I wanted to do, I didn’t see any point in it. I felt like I’m not going to be able to play it as good as them so I’m going to write my own stuff. That’s always what I wanted to do.

I can’t necessarily pinpoint one that’s changed my life. I mostly like fiction. I love “Tom Sawyer� and “The Great Gatsby� just classics like that. I loved growing up as a kid reading those things.

Well I actually wasn’t in the band during the first shows. I joined the band about a year and half or two years ago now.

That’s on thing that I’ve always loved about Andrew’s songs, it’s not constructed to make it sound like it wants to rhyme, it just flows and it’s just really about what he’s talking about. It’s the best part.
