I was born on 28th of August 1970 in Bielefeld, West Germany. Some people say that this city doesn’t really exist, because it’s in the middle of nowhere, not really big but too big to be a village. The first 18 years of my life I was living in Sennestadt, a place in the suburbs of Bielefeld, which was planned and built during the 50’s. It’s quite a bizarre looking small town in the middle of woods (Teutoburger Wald), but with a very cosmopolitan touch... there live Germans, Turks, Russians, Polish, Greeks, Yugoslavians…

They also come from German electronic–music, but the main reason I work with electronic instruments is the wide spectrum of sound possibilities. I didn’t start doing this kind of music because I’m a big Kraftwerk fan or anything... I prefer Can anyway.
