We've always looked at it like meaning the son of Satan. We wanted an original name and not a name that was taken out of "Lord Of The Rings" because everyone was doing that at that time. It was actually Tjodalv, our old drummer, who came up with the name in '92 or '93. It's a very original name. The first time I heard it, it was like "Well, what is this?" After a while, I got to like it and it's special and it's not like everyone else's name.

I'm probably more of an atheist. I don't believe in a lot. I don't like to believe in things I haven't seen and I haven't seen any gods or satans so I just make up my own religion. If it affects my music, I don't know. I have a very negative view of society in general, so, I don't know. Perhaps you can hear some of that in the music. I really don't know.
