IQ Quotes

The big disagreements come in the rehearsal room during the writing of the album, not in the studio. When an IQ album is being recorded there are normally only a couple of band members there at any one time, so it's quite a muted affair. We haven't all been in the studio at the same time for years and years. The rehearsals are quite ferocious battlegrounds though, as IQ is made up of 5 very opinionated people all of whom could probably make a decent album on their own.

I'm not convinced that IQ would have been hugely different had Genesis never existed, and I think that the similarity between the two bands is actually far more coincidental than most people would think.
