Guru Guru Quotes
I started gigging as an amateur musician as early as 1959 in a couple of amateur bands in Switzerland. In Zurich, where I lived at that time you had much better opportunities to get the "new" records from England and the United States than in Germany.
I started Guru Guru as "The Guru Guru Groove Band" together with Uli Trepte in 1968. We wanted to leave the Free Jazz thing into the direction of electronically amplified music.
