We were playing a big show at a skate shop in Michigan about 4 1/2 years ago. At the time the band was still known as Flu Thirteen. We had an amazing performance that night as indicated to us by an excited fan. "You guys were the diffuser band of the night", she said. I replied "Wow thanks, but what does that mean?" "It's when a relatively unknown band comes in and "diffuses" the hype from the headlining bands and basically steals the show." I thought that was cool so when it came time to re-name the band that seemed to be a good choice.

I gain inspiration from everything like a good movie to a real life story to a conversation. Whatever strikes me as being interesting.
Anthony, Pete,Dan and myself all come from a very punk rock/D.I.Y. musical background. We have been into music since we were teenagers and are living our childhood dreams playing in a rock band. I would assume we developed our high energy style naturally over the past few years. I think we are just a plain old rock band. We're the type of band that hates being catagorized.
