No, in fact Quiet B Sides is all completely new material, which is what made it such fun to record. The reason that we are calling it a "B Side" is to establish the precedent for releasing different music other than the "AwRY band sound" on singles and B-sides.
Honestly, we didn't try to shop the record to labels because we felt that this Orange Album was a good introduction to the band, but more so it was a way to mold Word with the present material. The work by Earl Harvin (drums) was really great for Word, and we wanted to max out those tracks by redoing them with the AwRY sound. Songs like "Madwoman" and "Drizella" from Word had been disappointments, but we thought that they had potential. After face lifts, they appear with different forms on the Orange Album.
